What is the cost of a beverage?
A 16 oz. cold, purified water is only $0.55! Less than half the cost of a traditional bottled water. A 16 oz. beverage that is customized with three 100% fruit juice flavors will cost approximately $1.50, 10-25% less than a comparable bottled beverage.
What forms of payment are accepted at an ecowell kiosk?
Ecowell uses an account system which can be accessed at the ecowell by utilizing your Tap-Tag™ or username and password to sign in. Money can be added to your account online after you sign in or at the kiosk with cash or Credit/Debit cards.
What is the ecowell Tap-Tag ™ payment system?
A Tap-Tag ™ is a small keychain that can be conveniently attached to bottles, keys, backpacks, etc. The Tap-Tag ™ payment system works much like a pre-paid gift card. Each time you want a beverage, you simply touch your Tap-Tag™ to the Tap-Tag™ reader and it instantly signs you into your account. You can then create the drink of your choice and the cost will be automatically deducted from your account balance. Anytime your balance is running low, you can load moneyonline, or at the ecowell.
I lost my Tap-Tag ™, what do I do?
You can disable your Tap-Tag ™ by logging into your online account. Simply click "Edit User Information" and then click "Modify Tap-Tag ™". In this page you can disable your Tap-Tag ™. If you later find your Tap-Tag ™ you can enable it using the same method. You can also purchase a new Tap-Tag ™. This new Tap-Tag ™ will be mailed to you and can be registered to your account at any ecowell kiosk.
Am I able to fill any bottle or do I have to use my
ecowell bottle?
Any container may be filled. Ecowell encourages the use of reusable bottles, please visit our online store if you do not currently have a reusable bottle.
What form of filtration is used?
Ecowell uses a four stage carbon-based filter system. Custom tailored carbon based filtration systems are designed specifically for each host site. Typically pre carbon, sediment, post carbon, and ultraviolet(UV) filters are used. Our filters will be sent back to our supplier and recycled!
Is the dispense area sanitary?
YES. The nozzle is located inside a guard, preventing cross-contamination. Ecowell also incorporates a ultraviolet(UV) light that sterilizes the dispense area throughout the day. Site locations perform daily cleaning. Automatic interior purging will run before and after all vends to remove any residue from previous vends.
How long does it take me to fill a bottle at your kiosk?
20-45 seconds depending on the size of your drink.
What if I forget my bottle?
You can purchase a new bottle, refill a different bottle, or even refill a paper or glass cup.
